OS X 10.9 will allow the playback of slow-motion video clips shot with the iPhone 5S

Camera application a iPhone 5S contains a function that allows us let's record slow-motion video clips directly from devices, and in OS X 10.9 Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has also implemented compatibility with these types of video clips. More precisely, the version of QuickTime implemented in OS X Mavericks 10.9 by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is able to allow us to play these video clips exactly as they are filmed, and this under the conditions that the QuickTime version from OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion is not able to do this for users.

It was normal for Apple to implement support for this functionality in OS X Mavericks, and together with it, the video clips also attached a timecode that neither QuickTime nor iPhoto does not read/use for now.
