Apple has been sued by angry employees over the time lost to get in and out of work

A new lawsuit was recently filed against the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is based on a group of employees Apple Store- people upset because of the time lost during the registration and exit from work processes. Employees claim that I lose between 10 and 15 minutes every day during this registration and verification process, again Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), they should pay for their lost time. Although we are talking about not many minutes lost daily, adding them up in a month we are talking about several unpaid working days, and the company's employees are now demanding their rights in court.

Plaintiff and other Hourly Employees were and are required to wait in line for security checks for at least 10-15 minutes each day before leaving for their meal breaks and at the end of their shift after they had already clocked out. This daily 10-15 minute uncompensated waiting time during security checks was done in order to undergo searches for possible contraband and/or pilferage of inventory.

This problem does not only affect the Apple company, those from Amazon are in a similar situation and there are probably other companies besides them that have dissatisfied employees for the same reasons. Considering that Apple has no less than 40.000 employees in Apple Stores around the world, the company would have to pay enormous amounts of money to pay the rights to everyone who would ask for them, so it remains to be seen the court will decide.
