Apple claims that some iPhone 5S terminals have problems with battery autonomy due to a manufacturing defect

Although until now the owners of terminals iPhone 5S they did not explicitly complain about problems affecting the battery autonomy of the terminal, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), recognized recently that some units have manufacturing problems. Based on these problems, the battery would discharge much faster than normal or would refuse to charge, but the company did not explain what exactly would be the basis of the problem. Even without a clear explanation, those from Apple announced that they will replace any kind of terminals iPhone 5S affected, so users don't have to worry.

We recently discovered a manufacturing issue affecting a very limited number of iPhone 5S devices that could cause the battery to take longer to charge or result in reduced battery life. We are reaching out to customers with affected phones and will provide them with a replacement phone.

Apple did not specify the exact number of affected terminals, but it seems that only a few thousand units would have problems and this seems true, otherwise we would have already had a scandal related to battery problems.
