iPad Mini with Retina Display was launched on the market just a few months after the tablet from Google, and in the video clip above we have a comparison details of both products. Google Nexus 7 2013 has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, while iPad Mini with Retina Display has a Retina Display of 7.9 inches with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, so we have more space for viewing images, but also a better resolution, the aspect ratios being different.
In terms of performance, in benchmarks iPad Mini with Retina Display it is clearly superior to the Google tablet, but the differences in the real world are not extraordinarily large.
