If you iOS 7 installed for some time, then surely you know that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), tried, but failed to solve all the functionality problems of the operating system for iDevices. Fed up with so many bugs and design errors, someone thought to make a website in which to publish all these problems and they are not few. Even if you find there, for now, only a few entries, I'm sure you are aware of the fact that the list is much longer and it will be updated over time.
Although there must be hope that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), will solve these problems in due time, no one can say for sure that things will be solved.
