Windows Phone 8.1 is going to include a Siri-like personal assistant

Windows Phone 8.1 is the future version of the operating system dedicated to mobile terminals manufactured using the operating system of those from Microsoft, and it will contain some interesting news. Apart from an improved Notifications Center, Microsoft inted to implement in Windows Phone 8.1 a similar personal assistant Crab or Google Now, these being currently the best programs of this kind. The assistant from Microsoft will have a similar functionality, that is, it will be able to "maintain" a "conversation" and will be able to offer reminders, but it will probably have something different.

We're told it's similar to Google Now and Apple's Siri technology, with conversational interaction and the ability to learn location context and data from the phone. Like Google Now, it will automatically remind you when a meeting is approaching and how long you'll need to reach an appointment.

Windows Phone smartphones have a voice assistant implemented by Microsoft, but the tests done so far have revealed that it is not nearly as good as Siri or Google Now. However, the move by those from Microsoft has the role of updating the operating system with certain functions that their direct competitors have been offering for some time for their own customers, but it remains to be seen if everyone will appreciate them to the same extent.
