Apple would have already chosen the supplier of the future flexible touch screens of the iWatch

Supporting the multitude of rumors that have appeared lately in connection with iWatch, a Chinese publication says that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), would have already chosen the manufacturer of the future flexible screens of the new one SmartWatch. TPK is the name of the company that would have won a contract of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for the manufacture of flexible screens AMOLED which would be implemented in iWatch, the product will reach the market in the second half of next year, most likely in the fall together with iPhone 6.

The report said the iWatch will come equipped with a flexible AMOLED display and 3D protective glass. The rumors also speculated that the iWatch will use silver nanowire touch screen technology developed by TPK in conjunction with Japan-based Nissha Printing.

For the touch screen of iWatch Apple would have chosen to use silver nanowires, this technology being much more suitable for flexible AMOLED screens. Considering that we are still talking about a simple rumor, it is not yet known exactly what Apple will use for the iWatch, but TPK is one of the largest producers of touch screens, Apple buying components from the Taiwanese company for its other iDevices , so an extension of the partnership would not be impossible.
