All Apple online services in Belgium could be closed for non-compliance with product warranty legislation

After more than a year in which consumer protection organizations in Belgium acted Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in court and campaigned for sanctioning the company on the basis of non-compliance with the legislation regarding the granting of the guarantee for products, here a judge is considering the application of drastic measures against the Americans. According to a publication in Belgium, the judge is considering blocking access to all Apple services across the country due to the company's refusal to comply with product warranty legislation.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), did not correctly inform its consumers about the 2-year legal guarantee that must be granted for the products and promote the purchase AppleCare for extending the warranty, and this cost her several million dollars in fines. Now everything could become even more problematic for Apple, with a judge accepting a proposal to ban access to Apple's online services, but banning access to iCloud or iTunes it would not represent a beneficial measure for consumers.

Apple was fined by the Italian authorities for non-compliance with the law, and consumer protection groups from 10 countries sued Apple, but the company refuses to comply with the law. Although it is unlikely that we will witness a blocking of access to iCloud for all Apple services, the company risks being fined, at least.
