Although officially there is no solution untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1, the well-known winocm hacker published last night a video clip in which he demonstrates a untethered boot for this version of the operating system. Winocm developed, together with iH8sn0w, the solution of untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.x named p0sixspwn, he will be employed in the framework Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, but in the meantime it proves that iOS 7.1 can be jailbroken without problems, even untethered, even if for now only on iPhone 4.

Although in the video clip above we see one iPhone 4 jailbroken on iOS 7.1, a solution of untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S could be demonstrated by the Canadian hacker iH8sn0w. In a tweet published on the social networking platform Twitter, the hacker announced that he intends to make a similar demonstration for the chip A5. These demonstrations come just a week after a fight between MuscleNerd, a member of the iPhone Dev Team, and the two hackers, who tried to prove that the exploits they have are viable for iOS 7.1, which has already been demonstrated.

Despite these demonstrations, which are based on the simple pride of the hackers, I don't think we will see any solution untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1 publicly released.
