According to the CEO Facebook, the number is 55 million users higher than the one recorded in Q4 2013, so we are talking about a 5% increase in just three months. Being the largest social network on the globe, Facebook now also has the largest number of active mobile users for this market segment, a real record for the company.
Separate from these figures, those from Facebook announced that over 200 million users use the network Instagram monthly, over a quarter of them becoming active in the last 6 months.
