  Samsung Galaxy S5 vs iPhone 5S vs HTC One M8 vs Nexus 5 are some of the most interesting high-end smartphones available on the market, and Square Trade compared them in a complex endurance test. In the video clip above, you have presented the entire test carried out by the company specializing in the sale of insurance for mobile terminals, which also offers grades for the durability of the terminals. According to the company, Google Nexus 5 obtained grade 7, the weakest, being followed by Samsung Galaxy S5 with grade 6, iPhone 5S with grade 5.5 and HTC One M8 with grade 6.5.

  • The new Samsung Galaxy S5 takes a big step forward in durability, performing well in drop and dunk tests [scoring 6]. The Galaxy S4 has a Breakability Score of 7;
  • The iPhone 5s maintains a slight edge over all three Android phones, with a Breakability Score of 5.5;
  • The larger HTC One M8 took a step backwards with a score of 6.5, performing poorly in dunk and slide tests. The previous generation HTC One is very durable, with a Breakability Score of 4.5;
  • The LG Nexus 5 scored a disappointing 7, failing dunk and drop tests.

  According to tests, iPhone 5S is the most durable smartphone of the 4 tested, again Google Nexus 5 is the most fragile.
