iPhone 6 – Apple contracted the manufacturer of the future case

For iPhone 6 launch the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has already begun to contract the manufacturers of the various components of the device, an Asian company called Catcher having already been chosen to manufacture all the metallic elements of the terminal. Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), bought metal cases from this company for other iPhones, and now for iPhone 6 will call again to it, 10.5 million metal casings to be delivered in 2014 only for this terminal. This figure would represent approximately 15% of the total number of units, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), hoping to sell 70 million terminals iPhone 6 only this year.

Barclays said it expects Apple's next-generation smartphone to be launched in the second half of the year and that shipments of the new model will be 35 to 40 percent higher than the previous one. Catcher is likely to receive between 10 and 20 percent of the casing orders for the new iPhone, which should help lift its earnings in the second half of the year, Barclays said in a report.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is one of the main customers of Catcher and the partnership of the two companies could be expanded as the demand for terminals increases iPhone 6. Considering that we are approaching iPhone 6 launch, we'll see more and more information about the iPhone 6 components, so we're in for an extremely interesting few weeks.
