iPhone 6 – the first fingerprint readers were delivered to start the assembly process

iPhone 5S Touch ID - fingerprint reader - iDevice.ro

A few hours ago I found out that a partner Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), was contracted to assemble 15% of the terminals iPhone 6 which are to be launched on the market in the fall, and now we find out that first fingerprint reader would have been delivered for assembly. TSMC is the company that makes these fingerprint reader for iPhone 6 and the production would have started a little while ago, but for now we don't know when the assembly of the terminal will start. The interesting part of this rumor is that these fingerprint readers would also be prepared for iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini with Retina Display 2, iOS 7.1 confirming the implementation of Touch ID in these tablets.

The information reaches us thanks to one of the companies involved in the manufacturing process of these components together with TSMC, the Taiwanese company also looking to improve the manufacturing process of the component for iPhone 6. It was logical for Apple not to give up touch ID since this is one of the most popular functions implemented in iPhone 5S and it was logical to see the system in the iPad tablets, so all that remains is to see everything officially presented by Apple.
