Shazam is the biggest service that offers us the possibility to find out the names of the songs playing around us, all using an application for mobile terminals. In the ICEEfest 2014 those of the Shazam presented some information about their service, but also about the users from Romania, 2 million Romanians monthly using the Shazam service to find out the names of the songs they hear wherever they are.
With 470 million users worldwide, Shazam has a user base almost as large as that of WhatsApp Messenger, and the Romanian component seems insignificant. Even so, in Romania the majority of those who use Shazam are between 25 and 34 years old, men representing 65% of the total number of users, a rather large portion if we consider that many women use smartphones.
In iOS 8 Crab it will have Shazam included and will be able to recognize the songs as soon as we open it again in this article I have presented to you how the entire system works.
