iPhone 6 si iWatch are the future products that the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing to launch them on the market during this year and it seems that both will contain sapphire glass protective panels. Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), built a factory in Arizona, together with a company called GT Advanced, its role being to produce sapphire glass panels that will be applied over the screens iPhone 6 si iWatch.
As a result of my most recent supply chain check I believe that the Mesa sapphire operations will have ample supply to cover the iWatch, the 4.7″ iPhone and the 5.5″ iPhone with full sapphire cover glass in 2014. Additionally, the maximum sapphire screen capacity of the Mesa facility is likely to exceed 200m annual units.
Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), invests hundreds of millions of dollars in this factory and it seems like it can produce enough of many panels for iPhone 6 with 4.7 inch screen, iPhone 6 with 5.5 inch screen, But and iWatch. Almost the entire factory was equipped with machines capable of producing sapphire glass panels for the two iPhone 6 models, as well as the iWatch, all in time for the start of iPhone 6 production this month.
My most recent supply chain check confirms that GT's sapphire business with Apple is likely to approach or exceed $2B annually or $2.00 earnings per share using an estimated ASP of $10 per unit.
Rumors that appeared in recent months indicate that Apple intends to produce 200 million sapphire glass panels annually in this factory, so serious sales of iPhone 6 terminals and iWatches are expected. iPhone 6 will be presented and released in September of this year, while iWatch could make its appearance only a month later.
