iMac 2014 was released by Apple!

Last week I announced that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing to launch new models of iMac for us, so just a few minutes ago iMac 2014 was officially launched in Apple Online Store company's Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. We are talking about a new model of iMac which brings a starting price of $200 lower than that of the previous model, but this is due to the inclusion of a dual-core Intel processor of 1.4 GHz instead of the quad-core of 2.7 GHz.

Apart from this change in the processor configuration, the new model of the iMac with a 21.5-inch screen has a 500 GB HDD instead of the 1 TB one, the integrated video card being Intel HD Graphics 5000 instead of Intel Iris Pro. Basically, we are talking about the launch of a slightly cheaper model of the iMac, which still comes with a serious reduction in performance, even though the price has been reduced by only $200.

In their rush to attract new customers, the Apple company begins to offer products with poor performance, despite the high selling price, and this will probably cost them customers in the long run. The Apple company also develops iMacs equipped with Retina Display, but it will probably take some time until they are available and the selling price will certainly not be that attractive.
