Apple is expanding the availability of the two-step authentication system for Apple IDs

At the beginning of last year the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), implemented a new two-step authentication system for logging into your own website with a Apple ID, and recently expanded its availability. This system requires the use of a code received via SMS, or the Find My iPhone application, to log into one Apple ID on the Apple website, entering the password is no longer enough to access an account.

Although the system was available at the beginning of this year in 11 countries around the world, Apple recently expanded availability in 59 countries, but Romania of course he is not among them. However, for the rest of the countries, the new two-step authentication system can be administered from Page setups  of your Apple ID, after activation, access to the account can only be done using the method described by me above.

Apart from accessing the account through this method, the Apple company considers restricting access to the Calendar, Contacts and Mail applications through a similar method, which can be introduced starting with iOS 8.
