Apple initiates the first round of layoffs within Beats

The past days The European Commission approved the acquisition of the company Beats by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, and today we are discussing the first round of layoffs initiated by those from Cupertino. Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has already started to move some of the employees to its own headquarters in Cupertino, only the important ones being part of the transition, some of the less important employees already notified that they were fired.

Employees from the new product development divisions have already received new positions within the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, while some of the employees of the hardware division will work in the headquarters Beats from Santa Monica, others to be part of his team Phil Schiller. Not as lucky were some employees from the support, finance or human resources divisions, most of those who were part of these divisions being fired in the past weeks and now.

In a slightly better situation are others who will continue to be part of the Apple team until the end of January 2015, their contracts to be terminated then. Apart from this transition, Apple has already started to implement Beats technologies in the iTunes infrastructure, so in the next period we could see new and extremely interesting functions available for Apple services.
