TELEKOM Romania - importance and benefits brought by the transition of Cosmote and Romtelecom

Week Cosmote si Romtelecom they officially announced the transition to the brand TELEKOM Romania in the course of the following months, the companies officially confirming what everyone knew for months. Telecom group Deutsche Telekom by you Cosmote si Romtelecom for a long time and implemented a multitude of changes within the company until now, but now it will use its brand publicly.

Telekomor T-Mobile in certain countries, it is one of the strongest brands in mobile telephony, with hundreds of millions of customers and hundreds of thousands of employees worldwide, and entering the Romanian market represents an important change for us. Orange si Vodafone has dominated the Romanian telecom for many years and the competition from a player such as Telekom could generate a new revolution in terms of the quality of services and the prices charged for them.

Those from Telekom Romania have been preparing for a long time a new range of offers for existing and future clients, some of them being even better than those of RCS & RDS. Moreover, the company invests in the improvement and expansion of the infrastructure, so we will talk about services whose quality will be superior to that offered by Orange or Vodafone in almost any region of the country.

The combination of two of the largest companies in Romania will offer Telekom Romania the ability to come much more efficiently in meeting the needs of clients with better offers than those of competitors, some of them being implemented for several months. I for one expect Telekom Romania to surpass Vodafone in terms of the number of customers in a few years and to be a much more serious opponent for Orange.

In Romania, image is extremely important the German Telekom brand it will attract a new range of customers whom Cosmote or Romtelecom could not convince to use their services, and Vodafone will probably be the most affected in the next period. Because the image is so important, I expect Telekom's promotion to be based on the fact that we are talking about a German company, a company that dominates the German market and probably intends to dominate the one here.

What benefits or disadvantages do you think the entry of Deutsche Telekom in Romania will bring?
