Apple replaces the batteries of some iPhone 5 terminals free of charge

During the last night the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), initiated a battery replacement program for some iPhone 5 models, after discovering the fact that certain units can have a low battery autonomy. The affected models were sold worldwide between September 2012 and January 2013, but their number is very small, and Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), provides us with a web page in which we can check the serial/serial number of our own iPhone 5 to see if the battery can be replaced free of charge.

According Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, its authorized partners will receive the terminals iPhone 5 that can be accepted in this program, the company's recommendation being to delete all data from the terminals before taking them to the stores. Moreover, if you changed your battery at an authorized Apple partner due to problems similar to those discovered by the company and you have a terminal included in the program, then you will be reimbursed for the amount paid.

For now, the program has been launched in the USA and China, and starting on August 29, it will become active in other countries around the world, with Apple closing it on March 1, 2015. If you don't know how to discover the series/ iPhone 5 serial number, then on this page you have explained everything.
