Apple continues to fight to remove from sale Samsung products that infringe its patents

This week I told you that, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), a request to remove a series of products from sale was refused Samsung for which a jury determined the infringement of some patents of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and decided to pay some compensations. Although the judge did not agree with the claims made by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in the application submitted to the court, the lawyers from Cupertino announced that they will appeal against this decision.

A judge this week issued a decision denying a sales ban, and Apple on Friday said it would appeal the decision. In the trial, which wrapped up in May, jurors concluded that Samsung should pay $119.6 million in damages for violating three of Apple's patents — far below the $2 billion that Apple had asked for. Samsung's Galaxy S III, a flagship smartphone, accounted for the biggest portion, contributing $52 million worth of the damages.

In a trial won in May, a panel of jurors ruled that Samsung must pay Apple 119.6 million dollars for infringing some patents, Apple demanding that those products be removed from sale. The Samsung Galaxy S III is the terminal for which most of the damages were awarded, 52 million dollars, but the judge decided that Samsung must have the opportunity to correct its mistakes, giving it a few months to do so.

Apple does not agree with this decision and wants an immediate withdrawal, so it remains to be seen whether their appeal will be accepted or not.
