Mac Mini 2014 won't let you upgrade RAM

I talked to you today about iMac Retina, its components and the ability to disassemble it to make them upgrade for RAM, processor, video card or storage space, and now it's the turn of the little one Mac Mini 2014. According to an Apple insider, it appears that the new 2014 Mac Mini will not allow users to override the amount of RAM implemented in the product when purchased from an online or physical Apple store.

It's really looking like the RAM can no longer be upgraded by the user. (We should have that confirmed soon.) This option will be sorely missed by a lot of people. At least Apple has decreased the price of the RAM upgrades when you build and order a machine on the Apple Store. Also, nice to see the two higher versions come with 8GB of RAM by default now.

It seems that the new product of the American company has the RAM welded to the logic board and can only be replaced together with it, which no one will ever do. Unfortunately, Apple forces its users to purchase from the very beginning the amount of RAM they think they need for the years they will use this product, at the moment a maximum of 16 GB of RAM can be purchased by configuring a Mac Mini 2014 in Apple's Apple Store Online.

The good news in this whole issue is that the storage medium will still be able to be changed by users, but only with the loss of the warranty offered by the American company.
