iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be launched with pre-order in Romania during this night and probably some of you are wondering where to buy a decoded iPhone in Romania and at what price I will find it. If you avoid online stores, well there's only the mobile operator option, and in that case you won't get exactly what you want because some mobile operators still feel the need to hardcode their terminals to force their use only in your own network.
Where to buy iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus decoded
In our country, all mobile phones bought without benefiting from any price reduction or special promotion can be decoded free of charge by the operator at the request of customers, the law obliging companies to do so. If you purchase the terminals benefiting from a discount or promotion applied to any subscription or option, then things look like this:
- Telekom – sell cracked iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus regardless of whether you buy them by subscription or at full price, this being the operator's policy since the time when COSMOTE first entered the Romanian market:
- Orange – sells encrypted iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus regardless of whether you buy them by subscription or at full price, and although it was speculated at one point that the operator sells decoded terminals, things are not like that now, especially in the case of iPhones;
- Vodafone – sells coded iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus regardless of whether you buy them by subscription or at full price, and although it was speculated at one point that the operator sells decoded terminals, the situation was temporary;

I believe that Telekom and Orange will market the new Apple products at prices close to those of the Apple Store, or €10 - €15 higher, as happened last year, and here we are talking about the standard prices for which you also benefit from free decoding. Last year Vodafone sold iPhone terminals at prices about 50€ higher than those of the Apple Store, and this year I expect exactly the same since Vodafone generally has higher prices than the rest of the operators.
