The iPad Air 2 comes without an NFC chip for Apple Pay

iPad Air 2 was disassembled last night to reveal its internals, and those who performed the procedure claimed that inside the new iPad tablet would be an NFC chip for Apple Pay. In reality, this chip present on the logic board of the iPad Air 2 tablet is actually the enclave chip in which the Apple company stores all the confidential data of users used for payments made through this system, in the case of the tablet they are limited only to purchases made using an Apple ID.

iPad Air 2 it does not have NFC antennas available necessary interfacing with POS for mobile payment authorization, and it won't be used as a POS for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the future either, so don't think about it. Apple has not even certified the iPad Air 2 as capable of enabling interconnection with other NFC devices, so this functionality will not be available in any way in the tablet, nor will it be enabled in the future by Apple or anyone else.
