A 3-year-old MacBook Pro issue brings a new lawsuit for Apple

In the 3 years since the launch of the MacBook Pro 2011, we have told you several times that many owners of this product have complained about the fact that its graphics card generates numerous usability problems. Apple customers reported the problem, tried to solve it in various ways that didn't involve an expensive logic board replacement, but all the while the Cuperino people ignored a problem that affects tens of thousands of users worldwide.

Despite the large number of affected users, only 3 have hired a law firm to sue Apple, which filed a subpoena in a US court in the past few days. The lawsuit details AMD graphics cards not working properly due to improper soldering, with Macs having various problems displaying content properly, especially when using applications that require a lot of processing power.

The lawsuit applies to residents of California and Florida, with lawyers arguing that Apple should reimburse customers for the money spent on repairs that cost between $350 and $600, so it remains to be seen how things will turn out.
