Apple is unable to meet delivery deadlines for the iMac Retina Display

This autumn, Apple launched the iMac Retina Display and offered its users for the first time the opportunity to buy a Mac equipped with a 5K screen, but unfortunately it is not able to deliver the units ordered by customers through its stores. At the moment, Apple lists delivery times of 2-3 weeks for its iMacs, and to make things worse, it has announced to customers who have already ordered such a product that the delivery will be delayed, most likely, due to the production problems of the partners contracted to assemble them.

According to some emails received from the Apple company, it seems that the delivery terms of the iMac Retina Display have been postponed by up to two weeks in certain cases, even though the products were ordered a week after the launch. Apple did not provide details about the problems that prevent it from delivering its customers' orders, preferring only to specify that an unexpected delay prevents delivery on time. Having said that, buying an iMac Retina Display will prove to be difficult during the winter holidays, but probably no one is surprised by such problems anymore.
