F64, the largest photo-video store in Southeast Europe, has prepared for Black Friday discounts on 25.000 products and 4.000 of them will be phones and tablets.
The discount period starts on the night of Thursday to Friday, November 21 and lasts until Sunday, November 23. To meet customers, Black Friday is held online on F64.ro, but also in the physical store in Bucharest, B-dul Unirii, no. 45, it being open on Friday and Saturday between 08.00 and 22.00 and on Sunday between 09.00 and 18.00.
Over the three days of Black Friday, F64 will have 3.500 DSLRs, 4.000 lenses and 2.500 compact cameras. Add to them 300 video cameras, but also 1.500 action cameras and 55 smart watches. The partners who will participate with F64 on Black Friday are established names in the photo-video equipment industry such as: Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus, Fujifilm, Zeiss, Sigma, Pentax, Leica, Tamron and Tokina.
Also on offer will be products from Samsung, Lytro, Sandisk, Lexar, Tamrac, WF Fancier, Lowepro, Case Logic, Manfrotto, Giottos, Hama, Pixel, Hakutatz, Ekasilp, Elinchrom, X-Rite, Datacolor, Nissin, Wacom, Tascam, Hahnel and Acme. How popular Black Friday is and what shoppers want
F64 together with the photographer and blogger Dragoș Asaftei, who owns the "Photography Blog", wanted to find out what people want on Black Friday, but also how well-known this discount event is. Approximately 1.100 people responded to Dragoș Asaftei's questionnaire and his data builds an interesting profile of the Romanian photography lover.
The majority of the audience is male, approximately 81%, aged between 18 and 35 (62%) and owns a DSLR (over 84%). Black Friday reached its fourth edition in Romania and the event grew in popularity from year to year. In 2014, 93% of respondents said they plan to shop on Black Friday, and most are targeting accessories for their devices. The average allocated budget is between 500 and 1.000 lei, and the information is mostly provided through specialized blogs and websites and through friends or professional photographers.
