Foxconn is building a special factory for Apple

Foxconn is Apple's biggest partner that assembles iPhone terminals or iPad tablets, and for the future they are preparing to produce an important component dedicated to the future products of the American company. More precisely, in a partnership with Innolux, those from Foxconn are investing 2.6 billion dollars in two years to build a factory where screens will be produced for Apple. It seems that the investment only considers the manufacture of screens for Apple, both Foxconn and Innolux, not taking into account possible collaboration with other potential partners.

Equipment installation will begin next month with mass production of panels to start by the end of 2015 after an urgent request for exclusive capacity. Apple Inc., a Foxconn customer, has previously tapped suppliers for dedicated access to factories in a bid to avoid shortages that can crimp sales of its iPhones and iPads.

Next month will begin the installation of the equipment in the new factory, following which they will be tested throughout the year, the actual production being scheduled to start at the end of 2015. The intention of those from Foxconn is extremely interesting given that the company already collects billions of dollars annually from at Apple, and an extension of the collaboration will only bring benefits. Foxconn has so far proven to be able to meet all the requirements of the Apple company regarding the manufacture of iPhone terminals or iPad tablets, so in the future we will also see screens produced by them for Apple.
