Starting with iOS 7, Apple partially blocked the possibility of using some unauthorized accessories with the iPhone and iPad, the problem becoming greater in iOS 8 for some of them that do not work even partially.
To solve this problem and allow the use of unauthorized third-party accessories was launched in Cydia un tweak called Support Unsupported Accessories 8, removing the restrictions implemented by Apple. In general iOS 8 will refuse to allow charging or data synchronization with counterfeit cables or those manufactured by third-party companies not authorized by Apple, so this tweak saves you from buying an original cable or accessory.
