Jeff Daniels Steve Jobs
In the morning we find out the reasons behind Sony's decision to sell the production rights of the film Jobs to the Universal production house, the estimates regarding the very poor receipts of the film scaring the American company. Although the news was certainly not received with great enthusiasm by the shareholders of Universal, now we learn that the actor Jeff Daniels would have been courted to play the role of the former CEO of Apple, John Sculley.

If the name Jeff Daniels won't say very many, well on the right side of the image above you can see him, he being one of the two actors of the comedy film Tantalaul si Gogomanul, or Dumb and Dumber. This year Dumb and Dumber 2 will hit the cinemas, but Jeff Daniels is one of the stars of the television series The Newsroom, and if the negotiations go according to plan, then he will be part of the group of actors who will play in the movie about Steve Jobs.

Jeff Daniels is already working with Aaron Sorkin for the series The Newsroom, so he has close ties with the one who wrote the script of the future film produced by Universal, he will be part of a select group of actors. Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen have already agreed to play the roles of Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, with Jeff Daniels set to play the man who replaced Steve Jobs after he was fired in 1985.

Although Jeff Daniels has not yet received a contract for the upcoming role in the film, it seems that director Danny Boyle considers him to be the main choice for the role of Sculley, so the chances of Universal refusing him are minimal. Having said that, Universal continues to finance the production of the film about the life of Steve Jobs, which will be composed of scenes of 30 minutes each, each of them presenting extremely important moments in the life of the former CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs.
