Following her breakout performance in the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed Inherent Vice, Katherine Waterston has landed a lead in the Danny Boyle-directed Steve Jobs film. She has been offered the role of Chrisann, Jobs' first wife. The pic gets underway next year.
Waterson joins a group of well-known actors in the biopic Jobs and even if she is not known internationally, this film will make her popular. Waterson will star in the movie Jobs alongside Michael Fassbender, Seth Rogen or michael stuhlbarg, so it will have almost a group of actors with vast experience in the cinematographic field.
Universal Pictures intends to initiate the production of the film Steve Jobs at the beginning of next year, the release in cinemas to take place by the end of the year.
