Ignition brings CarPlay to iPad tablets

Ignition

Ignition is a tweak newly launched during Christmas in Cydia, he being specially thought to bring the system C on iPad tablets. Although normally CarPlay should work only on cars, now it can be run directly on iDevices thanks to jailbreak solutions.

CarPlay was thought by Apple as a replacement for car entertainment systems, with an interface and functionality specially created in this regard. CarPlay allows interconnection with iPhones to retrieve information from them and control them, this being possible using iPad tablets.

CarPlay UI directly on top of SpringBoard on an iOS device, no need for a car! Works great for iPads mounted on the dash! App is added to Home Screen. This is primarily meant for an iPad, and iPhones aren't really supported (however you "can" use it with an iPhone 6 Plus if you really want to).

Ignition was created to work specifically with iPad tablets, but its developer claims that the iPhone 6 Plus could also be used. In this idea, you can use the iDevice as a replacement for the car's entertainment system, or as a navigation system, other terminals can be connected to it.

Ignition is available for free download in the repo BigBoss of Cydia.
