Lenovo LaVie Z is the latest ultrabook presented by Lenovo in the framework CES 2015, he having impressive specifications, but also sizes to measure. According to the Asian company, its new ultrabook is even lighter than a MacBook Air, and those who have tested both products claim that the difference of only a few hundred grams is noticeable.
Lenovo LaVie Z is an ultrabook that weighs only 0.72 KG and is 16.9mm thick, being 2.3mm thinner and 360 grams lighter than the MacBook Air. Practically Lenovo managed to make an ultrabook almost as portable as a tablet, most of them weighing about half a kg, but with much weaker specifications.

Lenovo LaVie Z hides inside the case a 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, an Intel i5 Core processor and offers an autonomy of almost 6 hours. Unfortunately, in the segment of autonomy, the Lenovo ultrabook does not come close to the MacBook Air, but for many this will matter less as long as they do not want to carry something as heavy with them wherever they go.

Using a magnesium-lithium alloy that covers the casings of the products, Lenovo created a special technique of manufacturing the screen directly in the casing that allows the production of ultrabooks so thin and light.
Lenovo LaVie Z will go on sale in May in the US at the price of $1300, much more than the MacBook Air.
