More precisely, the basis of the smartwatch is the watch with its dial, and to it we can attach various blocks that form the strap and contain components. In this idea, we can add to the smartwatch a GPS, extended battery, sensors for monitoring vital functions, a microphone, a slot for SIM cards and many others.

The Blocks smartwatch is based on a functionality similar to that of Pebble, so basically you will be able to receive notifications and interact with smartphones. By adding various component blocks in which you will be able to implement new functions based on your wishes, so you will transform a common smartwatch into a multifunctional gadget.

For now, the Blocks product is still in the development process, this does not mean that it will not be ready for a release in the near future. We have seen a multitude of smartwatches so far and this is definitely one of the most interesting that were present at the CES 2015 stands.

Those from Blocks intend to initiate a financing campaign during this summer for their product, the initial price will be $150. Each additional module will cost between $20 and $40, so a complete package could cost between $200 and $300 depending on user preferences, a price similar to that of other smartwatches on the market.
