This week I told you that Apple has officially started selling decoded iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models in its Apple Stores, but this has been happening for several months. The difference between what happened then and what is happening now is that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), sells certain models of iPhone 6 si 6 iPhone Plus in partnership with T-Mobile, while now also sells iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus SIM-free.
Based on both types of iPhone 6 si 6 iPhone Plus they are decoded and can be used in any network if you activate them with a card from Romania, but in the middle there is also a differentiating factor between them. More precisely, it is about the frequencies that each of the two types of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus supports, and here problems could arise for some of you.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus T-Mobile and SIM-free - what are the differences?
terminals iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus T-Mobile are models A1549 and A1522, while the terminals iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus SIM-free are models A1586 and A1524, they supporting slightly different frequencies. The SIM-free terminals are exactly the models sold in Europe and implicitly in Romania, while the T-Mobile models are mainly seen for the USA because they support many local frequencies.
In the image above you have the frequencies supported by iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus T-Mobile and, they work on the 3G networks in Romania, and they should work on the 4G networks, basically everywhere in Romania. I have not met users who have terminals from the US and cannot use the 4G network of mobile operators in Bucharest, but in the province there could be incompatibility problems, the frequencies used being different.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus SIM-free they are compatible with all mobile phone networks in Romania and work on all 4G frequencies, so you don't have to worry from this point of view. In this idea, the terminals with these codes can be used without problems in our country regardless of where you are, so you don't have to worry about them.
Considering that both types of terminals iPhone 6 si 6 iPhone Plus they have exactly the same price, there is no reason to buy a T-Mobile model.
