Apple will open 5 new stores in China by February

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), invests massively in China, the country that generates a good part of its revenues in the last period, and in this idea it is preparing to open 5 new stores in the country until the end of February. Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), promised last year that it would expand its presence in China from 15 to 40 stores in two years and is starting 2015 strong with the opening of new stores in strategically important locations.

  Angela Ahrendts, the SVP who leads the retail division of the Apple company, promised that by the Chinese New Year Apple will open 5 new stores, and this will be done as part of the expansion plan in China. The first location was already opened last weekend in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, the next one will be opened in Hangzhou China, the two cities having a total population of 11.4 million inhabitants.

  Although the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), did not detail the locations of the other three stores, job offers published by the American company announce the opening of stores in: Anhui, Guizhou, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shanxi and Tianjin. Apple has increased its number of employees in China by 75% in the last two years, now reaching 3700 employees in the country for all its physical and online stores.

  China is an extremely important country for Apple in terms of the important revenues generated for the company, it consistently represents between 10% and 15% of Apple's receipts for each fiscal quarter.
