iPhone 6S or iPhone 7?

iPhone 6S or iPhone 7

This year the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), will launch two new iPhone models, following last year's tradition when iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus appeared on the market. A few days ago, I found out the first information about the news that the iPhone 6S is going to bring, and these days I read various discussions about the name of the new terminal.

iPhone 6S or iPhone 7, what will be the name chosen by Apple? Well, the answer to the question is quite simple and has behind it an almost 5-year-old strategy of Apple. Starting from 2009, the Apple company started to launch iPhones that have the letter s in the name, bringing intermediate improvements for users.

These intermediate improvements practically mean an improvement of the hardware of the devices without changing the external design of the products. An s-series terminal is launched a year after the launch of an iPhone with a completely changed design, this being the main reason why an iPhone receives a new number.

Basically, for Apple, changing the design basically means launching a new model of an iPhone, and updating the hardware is just an intermediate improvement. In this idea, the name of the future iPhone terminal will not be iPhone 7, but iPhone 6S because we will not have a change in the design of the case.

Creating a completely new design for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Apple company will not create another one a year away because it does not have time. In general, completely changing the design of a mobile terminal involves a long period of testing, and Apple needs at least 1 year to do this, so in 2015 we will not have a terminal with a completely changed design.
