Apple A9

iPhone 6S will be launched in the fall of this year and it seems that Apple is already lining up the partners who will produce the future model of its terminal. In the last weeks, various information appeared regarding the companies that would have been contracted to produce all the chips A9, Samsung si TSMC being rumoured. If last week it was said that the production will be shared between the two companies, today we find out something different, Samsung will produce most of the chips A9.

South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co Ltd will be the main supplier of processors powering Apple Inc's next iPhone, Maeil Business Newspaper reported on Monday, citing unidentified sources in the semiconductor industry. Samsung will be responsible for around 75 percent of the chip production for the next iPhone, the South Korean newspaper said.

According to information from an Asian publication, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), would have decided to award 75% of the chip production A9 for iPhone 6S those from Samsung, the rest going to TSMC. This year TSMC is making most of the chips A8 for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but Apple would like a change. In this idea, Samsung will receive most of the orders and produce the new chips in its factory in Texas, so that Apple will also contribute to the creation of new jobs in the USA.

No one knows how many A9 chips Apple has ordered, but the company will pay several billion dollars for the manufacture of these components, so Samsung will be able to substantially increase its revenues.
