All contacts from your iPhones are automatically saved in iCloud, if you have the option activated from iOS, so they are also accessible through the iCloud.com website of those from Cupertino. There the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), created a web application that allows us to access the list of all the contacts saved in our iPhones to edit them, but also to extract them at any time. Follow the steps below to quickly download all contacts from the contact book a iCloud, but to be able to read them on the computer you will need a program capable of reading files vCard.
- Access iCloud.com from your computer.
- Access the Contacts application.
- In the contact list, select a name and on PC press CTRL + A, on Mac CMD + A to select the entire list. If you want to save only certain contacts, then by holding down the CTROL or CMD button and clicking on each one separately, you will select them.
- After selecting the desired contacts, you will be able to extract them by pressing the wheel at the bottom left of the screen and selecting the Export vCard option.
- At this moment, iCloud will create a vCard file with all your contacts and download it to your PC, after which you will be able to access it.
The procedure can be followed from computers or some tablets.
