iOS beta 8.3 2 has been available for a few days for iDevice owners, and in it the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), implemented a multitude of emoji characters new in the idea of offering diversity for users. More precisely, the Apple company now offers 60 emoji characters for various ethnicities, and Asians seem to have been upset by the way Apple chose to represent them. The emoji characters that should represent Asians have the color yellow, and they were offended by the color chosen by the Apple company, using social networks to show their displeasure.
Asians get angry very easily if it is suggested that their skin is yellow, and Apple now has a new major problem in front of it, especially since many of the angry ones are from China. This country is extremely important for the Apple company, it generates a good part of the receipts in the last fiscal quarters of those from Cupertino, so we might see some changes soon. It is not excluded that in iOS beta 8.3 3 the Apple company to choose another color for the skin of the emoji characters that should represent Asians, all with the idea of not upsetting the Chinese.
Considering that the same emoji characters are available in OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, Apple will make the same changes to its operating system for Macs starting with the upcoming beta version of the operating system. It remains to be seen whether Apple will succeed in appeasing the Asians, but the idea itself and the offenses of some seem quite ridiculous.
