Downgrade iOS 8.2 to iOS 8.1.3 can be done

iOS 8.2 downgrade iOS 8.1.3

iOS 8.2 has been released last night by the Apple company and although it brings a multitude of solutions for existing problems, some users claims a low battery autonomy, performance problems and many others. As usual, the Apple company allows us to continue downgrade from iOS 8.2 to iOS 8.1.3 for a short period of time, so if you are not satisfied with this version of iOS, you can leave it. The procedure is not complicated and can be done now without problems, but unfortunately if you made a backup in iOS 8.2, you will not be able to use it after returning to iOS 8.1.3.

Downgrade iOS 8.2 to iOS 8.1.3 – tutorial

  1. Download iOS 8.1.3 from here.
  2. Connect your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch to your computer and open iTunes.
  3. Put your device into DFU Mode by following these steps: Press the Home and Lock buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds, release the Lock button, and hold only the Home button until iTunes recognizes the device, even if the screen remains blank.
  4. Press the button Check for iTunes Update and the program will install the version chosen by you in your terminals.

Given that iOS 8.1.3 blocked the TaiG jailbreak solution, unfortunately this procedure will not bring back the option to exploit your terminals, but on the other hand, iOS 8.2 cannot be exploited in such a way either. Unfortunately, at the moment it is not known when or if another solution will be launched jailbreak, and my guess is that until iOS 8.3 comes out, we won't have it. Although you will probably want to go back to iOS 8.2, I would recommend you not to leave it because you might get over the impression that you have a low autonomy, and if you will buy an Apple Watch, you will need this update.

It is not known how long you will be able to downgrade from iOS 8.2 to iOS 8.1.3, but the option will probably be available for at least 2-3 days.
