iPhone 6S – Apple requests the initiation of component production

The iPhone 6S will be released in the fall this year by the Apple company and we already know that it will keep the design of the current iPhone 6, but it will come with a series of new components, but also with new functions. In order to ensure that this year it has enough units available for launch in order to break its previous sales record, Apple is preparing to start the production of components for the iPhone 6S. According to some Asian sources, Apple asked its partners to be ready to start producing the new components before July.

Given that The iPhone 6S will have 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and an A9 chip, it is normal for Apple to request the initiation of production early since these components are not available in large quantities now. Separated iPhone 6S will have Force Touch, and for this technology a series of components are needed that normally Apple's partners do not have available in large quantities, so the rush is justified. Every year the Apple company has great problems in covering the initial demand for its new iPhones, and in 2014 it could not supply enough terminals even in December, three months after the launch.

Also in 2014, Apple sold 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus terminals, so in 2015 it needs a higher sales figure, and this also requires a larger production of terminals. Considering that Apple's partners can produce about 500.000 iPhones daily, Apple needs a good few weeks to have 11 million units of iPhone 6S. In this idea, the faster initiation of production will also bring us early information about what the new iPhone 6S will bring, so an interesting summer awaits us.
