Bucharest, March 25, 2015. Orange and Huawei are launching in Romania Wi-Fi on board, the solution that changes the idea of ​​connectivity in the car and brings internet to passengers at real average speeds of 60 Mbps, through the most extensive 4G network in the country. Wi-Fi on board allows the simultaneous connection to 4G internet of 10 devices (tablets, smartphones and consoles) and puts an end to the question "when will we arrive?" so often heard by parents on the long road.

Drivers of taxis, minibuses or other public transport operators will be able to offer this value-added service and have yet another differentiator in the market.

A small-sized device with an attractive design for a high-performance connection

The on-board Wi-Fi router was created for cars equipped with a 12 V socket. With a small weight and size, it is a device that connects to the car cigarette lighter, can be configured from a smartphone and tablet and provides a stable connection on the spot and fast, which allows passengers to download large files in a few seconds, watch videos and movies or access the desired information on the Internet through the 4G network. With the integrated USB port, the device can charge your tablet or phone at the same time.

The design of the router combines materials such as carbon fiber and metal with a carefully crafted finish to perfectly suit both classic and city cars, as well as sports and off-road ones.

Customers can also activate Cost Control free of charge, through which they can choose to continue accessing the Internet at lower speeds at no cost after the end of the included traffic, or to keep 4G speeds at a rate of 1 euro/500 MB.
