Considering that Apple implemented a 12-inch Retina Display and a weak processor in the new MacBook, it was expected that the performances would not be that great, and you will feel this "fully" when browsing the Internet, viewing of movies, use of applications, etc.
Although the processor of the new MacBook is not really that great, the ultrabook still has an Intel HD 5300 graphics card which should give it much better performance, from this point of view, compared to the products launched in the past by Apple. Having said that, if you will buy the new MacBook, then you will have to expect that the user experience will sometimes be affected by the insufficiently powerful components of the product.
