If this morning you realized that Facebook stop publishing simple new statuses, statuses with links, or that some of your or your friends' statuses were suddenly deleted by the social network, well, you don't have to be scared. It seems that a bug of the social network affects users from all over the world and prevents the publication of links to external sources, statuses already published with certain links being hidden.

At the root of the problem he stayed system Facebook which filters domains marked as spam and prevents the appearance of links to them in users' news feeds, certain safe domains being erroneously filtered. Those from Facebook claim that they have solved the problem and that publishing should be possible, with statuses that are being unlocked, but not everyone has gotten rid of the problem for now.

An error in our system that helps block bad links on Facebook incorrectly marked some URLs as malicious or inappropriate. As a result, some existing posts were hidden, while other posts were blocked completely. We've resolved the issue and the remaining affected URLs are being unblocked. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Because of the problem, people trying to publish links to various websites were met with the following error message: The content you're trying to share contains a link that our security system detected to be unsafe...please remove the link to continue. Unfortunately, the same error was also displayed for users trying to access the existing links, so Facebook acted quickly to partially solve the problem.

This is the first time that Facebook systems generate such problems and censor links from secure domains, affecting a very large number of people around the world, but in the next few hours the problems should be completely solved, or at least that is what the people from Facebook.
