iCloud now stores 50.000 contacts

Apple iCloudsiCloud now stores 50.000 contacts of users who use the American company's system on one or multiple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touches, the information coming directly from the American company. If until recently those from Cupertino limited iCloud to the storage of only 25.000 synchronized contacts from the terminals, now this limit has been doubled, so that anyone can store more information in the form of contacts, all without paying a penny extra.

According to the support document, the maximum number of contacts stored in an iCloud account is 50.000, the maximum size of the card with the information of a contact being only 256 KB. Regarding the contact picture, it can have a maximum of 224 KB, while the text of the cards or pictures can have a maximum of 100 MB, only pictures in JPEG, BMP, PNG or GIF format being accepted.

  • Total number of contact cards: 50,000
  • Maximum size of a contact card: 256 KB
  • Maximum size of a contact photo: 224 KB
