Those from Apple will eliminate the possibility to repair the products listed below because they are between 5 and 7 years old, they are outdated in all respects, and the purchase of components to repair them is certainly no longer a priority for those from Cupertino.

iPhones and iPads that will be practically out of use will be marked with statuses obsolete si season, the first status implying a complete cessation of repairs for the product, while the second implies the continued repair of the products. Only California and Turkey have the products marked with the second status, so in these territories they will be able to be found as long as the Apple company exists.

Apple no longer repairs iPhones and Macs

iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs, including the models for China, are going to become obsolete, or obsolete, starting from June 9 in the following regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, Canada, Japan, South America and all Apple Stores in Cupertino. iPhone 2G passed into a similar status during 2013, but now it's the turn of iPhone 3G, plus iPhone 3Gs to be removed from the repair system.

Regarding Macs the list is much longer, but the change of status applies in the same regions as those previously mentioned. Apart from this, the Apple company changes the status of some products from vintage to obsolete, so that all the ones listed below will never receive support again: MacBook Pro (17-inch, 2.4GHZ), MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.4/2.2GHZ), AirPort Express Base Station, Xserve (Late 2006), and Xserve RAID (SFP, Late 2004).

Apple has not officially announced the change, but it will probably do it around June 9, its decision being final, without the possibility of being changed by anyone.
