OS X El Capitan makes your Mac faster with TRIM support for SSD

OS X El Capitan TRIM SSDOS X El Capitan has TRIM support natively activated for the SSDs used by Apple in the standard configurations of Macs sold through its stores, but it also has native support for enabling TRIM on third-party SSDs.

In the attached image you have proof of the fact that TRIM support for SSDThe third one exists in OS X El Capitan at the moment, Apple allowing users to connect an external storage medium and benefit from high speeds for data transfer.

The TRIM function is intended to relocate deleted files from SSDs and allocate free space for new files created or copied by users, and apart from OS X El Capitan it seems that this feature could also be available in OS X 10.10.4 function.

Testing the new rootless system of OS X El Capitan, a user discovered a tool called Trimforce, which forces the activation of the TRIM function on third-party SSDs even if they have not been validated to ensure data integrity during its use.

By using this tool to enable TRIM, you agree that Apple is not liable for any consequences that may result, including but not limited to data loss or corruption.

Because the function forces the SSDs to work, in certain cases, on the basis of a system that it may not support, the Apple company asks users to approve an alert message through which they become solely responsible for the possible loss of data.

Although Apple partially blocked an app that enabled TRIM on Macs last year, it now appears to be open to offering it globally, and the change could give users exponentially faster Mac usage. .
