The iPad Mini has been discontinued by Apple

iPad Mini sold outiPad Mini has been discontinued by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), from its online store, the information regarding the old tablet being deleted including from the rest of the sections of the American company's website.

The disappearance of the iPad Mini tablet from the Apple website comes without any official information provided by the American company to motivate its decision to abandon the sale of its product, but those from Cupertino are used to acting in this way on various occasions.

The iPad Mini was launched by the Apple company in October 2012 in a format that those from Cupertino have kept until now in the updates made for this product category, but it seems that from now on it will no longer be available.

The iPad Mini was sold by the Apple company at the price of 250 dollars starting from October 2014, when the iPad Mini 3 was launched, and at the moment it seems that maintaining it in the global offer is no longer a priority for those from Cupertino.

The launch of the iPad Mini came at a time when sales of iPad tablets were entering the last fiscal quarter of strong sales, with the new product managing to affect sales of tablets with 9.7-inch screens and continuing to do so at the moment.

In 2014, Apple launched the iPad Mini 3 with a minor update compared to the iPad Mini 2, but despite the low sales, it does not seem to offer multiple options for users, preferring to remove from sale an old model with weak hardware.

Refurbished models of the iPad Mini are still available for purchase on the Apple website at prices starting at $209, so that after the stock runs out, the product will become history for those from Cupertino.
