The Orange TV stick was officially launched in Romania, the Orange mobile operator made the announcement just a few minutes ago, the new device offering the possibility to view films, TV series and Orange TV Go programs on any television with an HDMI port.
The Orange TV Stick was tested by Orange in Romania with a limited number of users before it was officially launched and is the only device of its kind available together with a TV subscription to offer access to such a wide range of content .
Practically using the Orange TV stick, users can access the Orange TV Go service from anywhere, as long as they have a TV with an HDMI port to insert it, the device replacing the need to view the content on a smartphone or tablet.
The Orange TV stick is available for purchase at the price of 40 euros for subscribers of Orange mobile services or those of Orange TV Local HD or Orange TV Local HD+.
Romania, the first country where the Orange TV stick is launched
Bucharest, June 22, 2015. After a period of testing with users, Orange Romania is launching the Orange TV stick for the first time, the portable mini-device that brings the films, shows, series and programs from Orange TV Go to the TV in the living room and turns the smartphone or tablet into a remote control.
Orange TV is the only television service in Romania that offers such a device, which allows customers to have the service at their place whenever they need it, even at home in the country or on vacation.

Through Orange TV Go, customers can watch up to 75 TV channels, 20 of which are in HD format, as well as over 500 movies and episodes of top series, of all genres. With the help of the stick and the "Orange TV Go" and "Orange TV stick" applications, available for free in the Play Store and App Store, all this TV content runs directly on the TV screen. The stick is compatible with TVs with an HDMI port and requires a secure Wi-Fi connection.

The Orange TV stick can be used both by subscribers of the Orange TV service via satellite and by those who watch Orange TV on mobile devices. In addition to the content in the Orange TV Go application, they can also view photos, songs or personal movies saved on their smartphone or tablet on the TV.
Customers who have an Orange mobile subscription or a Local HD or Local HD TV subscription+ can purchase the Orange TV stick at the standard price of 40 euros, including VAT.
Until August 31, when buying a stick, they will receive the World HD Go option free of charge for 3 months, which offers access to over 45 Romanian and international TV channels and over 500 movies and series through Movie Go Unlimited.
